Clients often come to this work during times of:
You do not need to arrive with a clear goal.
Sessions are experiencial and unfold naturally based on what's present for you in the moment. There's no agenda to follow, nothing to perform, and no expectation to know what you want to work on.
Sessions take place outdoors and on uneven ground. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Please dress for the weather and in a way that allows you to move easily and feel at ease. Layers and clothing you don't mind getting a bit dusty are often helpful.
You don't need to prepare anything in advance. Coming as you are - curious, unsure, or even nervous - is more than enough. We move at a pace that feels supportive, checking in along the way so you remain grounded, and in choice throughout the experience
No. All sessions are done on the ground, and no prior horse experience or riding is required. You will be guided and supported throughout the session.
This work can be supportive for adults, teens, and children, depending on the service and the individual.
Horse Connection Experiences are often especially beneficial for children and teens, as they focus on presence, regulation, and gentle interaction rather than verbal processing.
Gestalt Coaching sessions are primarily designed for adults and older teens. If you're considering this work for a child or teen, we can talk through what feels most appropriate during a free introductory call.
This work is not linear or perspective. Some clients experience meaningful shifts in a single session, while others choose ongoing support. We move at your pace and check in regularly about what feels supportive.
